During her secondment, Rebecca Matsie facilitated a networking opportunity between SALGA and KDZ at an executive management level. Mr Rio Nolutshungu, Chief Officer of Municipal Capabilities and Governance at SALGA met with KDZ, to learn more about their work in public sector reform across Europe. The synergies between SALGA’s championing of the professionalisation of local government in South Africa, and KDZ’s vision of sustainable public sector modernisation across Europe demonstrates a shared commitment to improving local governance in their respective contexts.
